air up into the water and spray foam insulation
keeps your water warm. The electronic control
operates the blower and allows you to increase
and decrease the speed of your air massage. An

Air Bath vs. Whirlpool tub. What are the advantages of each system?

This is a common question that many people ask when deciding on a bathtub for their new or remodeled bathroom. The whirlpool bath was the first product on the market about 30 years ago and about 15 years ago the first air baths began to be available. The first air baths were really a whirlpool bath with an air blower replacing the water pump. So the air was released into  the sides of the bath from the water jets . Within a few years manufactures were offering air bath systems that had special air jets installed in the floor of the bathtub for better distribution of the air into the water.

* Air Baths blow air bubbles into the bath water through tiny air jets in the floor of the bathtub. This produces a gentle massage as the air is release under your body.

* Whirlpool tubs recirculate the existing water in the tub and draw some air bubbles into the water. This produces a forceful massage from the side and back of the bathtub.

* Turbo air baths circulate the water like a standard whirlpool bath,  but also has an air bath  blower that forces air into the water jets. This  produces a standard whirlpools forceful massage and the ability to add force air to increase the massage pressure, or as air only for a gentler massage.
